Modern Slavery Statement
This document was last updated in June 2025, and applies from October 2024.
Slavery and trafficking are crimes that harm people in many places, and are not restricted to specific age groups, genders, or ethnicities.
We've taken, and we continue to take, steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are absent from our supply chains, and from our business.
This statement was approved by our CEO, Hywel Carver, on 15th June 2025, and approved by our Board of Directors on 30th June 2025.

Our Organisational Structure
Skiller Whale Limited is a private limited company, incorporated in England and Wales. We are a UK-based provider of learning for software engineering teams internationally, with a team based primarily in the UK as well as other countries including Hong Kong and Spain.
Our commitment
We are committed to preventing modern slavery in our operations and supply chain. We believe in respecting human rights and have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Our Supply Chain
Our external suppliers include many cloud-based service providers across the UK, the EU and the USA, among other countries. We also rely on professional service providers. And we work with expert coaches - either as individuals or through personal services companies. These suppliers represent low-risk sectors for any unfair labour practices.
Our relevant policies
Our Code of Conduct explains that we have zero tolerance for any form of personal harassment, and the need for freedom and safety for everyone involved in our work. We also conduct a regular supplier review to ensure that we have considered the risk of any trafficking or modern slavery in our supplier chain. If we become aware that one of our suppliers has trafficking or modern slavery in their activities or supply chain, we will work to end our relationship will them.
Risk assessment and management
We assess potential risks through auditing suppliers before we begin working with them. Our supply chain is in generally low-risk sectors of professional services.
Key Performance Indicators
Our primary performance indicator is the number of instances where we discover that a supplier has engaged with modern slavery or human trafficking. This is currently zero.
Training
All of our staff who are engaged in evaluating suppliers or owning supplier relationships are regularly trained on the topic of modern slavery and trafficking.
